"These are winter run steelhead and they are one of the Holy Grail’s of fishing. The air temp here is cold enough to freeze the line on your reel and the ice to cut your line in half. We have to use Vaseline on our fishing poles to keep the ice off."

A rainy day in Vancouver.
Gretha Zwamborn Siemons (my Mom) came over from Edmonton to spend some time with us. We spent a few rainy hours in North Vancouver today. Here are a couple of panoramic photos from the Lonsdale Quay.
An autumn day.
