In 2004 we moved to Vancouver from Amsterdam. We saw this as the opportunity to do something that we had talked about for a long time – travel for an extended period of time. We decided to take the long way around - via Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Ocean. Nine months later we arrived in Vancouver. During our trip we managed to post almost 5000 photos to this website! Through word-of-mouth (and search engines), at the peak, this website saw more than 500 visitors a day! Here we have reposted 1500 (of 5000) photos from our trip around the world. This is an attempt to make the effort of revisiting our trip a little less exhausting (also for us).

Our adventures travelling around the world in 2004: Amsterdam - (Jordan - Prague) - India - Nepal - Thailand - Vietnam - Singapore - Indonesia - Singapore - Hong Kong - Australia - Fiji - Cook Islands - Seattle - Vancouver - Toronto - Montreal - Amsterdam - (Denmark - Vancouver).
